Canadian political podcasts?
Just throwing a question out to the audience…I find I am getting alot of information from just a few American based podcasts from iTunes. I realize that without watching TV news, and reading a few articles and blogs online, I may not be getting much Canadian political news. I usually walk our dog for between 45 minutes to an hour everyday, and take that chance to listen to podcasts. Right now that is the longest uninterrupted time I have.
So my question is: Can anyone recommend any good political podcasts available on iTunes? And if possible, are any of them humourous?
This one is not political; but he’s entertaining. I’m talking about Holder’s Stuph File: http://peteranthonyholder.blogspot.com/ he posts all his podcasts on his blog and can subscribe via itunes. It has also been picked up by a New Zealand Radio station of all things.
Stuph File is based on Peter Anthony Holder’s old radio show here in Montreal, for over 20 years on CJAD. Unfortunately, Astral Radio cut him after all those years. Partly the reason he came out with this pod cast.
He talks about the weirdest news from all over the world. Interviews with authors and some very quirky folks.
Check it out. I don’t think he will disappoint, even if it’s not politics.
I’m planning my own podcast for sometime in 2010. Doing the research now, and still trying to decide how exactly I want to format this. But, that will be in a long time from now.
Like my blog, it will be born out of frustration for mainstream corporate media and their slant to the right.

Thanks for the tip, CK! I listened to my first “Stuph File” and definitely enjoyed it. Seems to have stories from all over. Looking forward to hearing your blog in 2010.
